What We Believe
The expression of our worship may lean towards a more modern approach, but our faith is deeply rooted in the Word of God. Our methods may continually change, but our message remains the same.
About The Bible
We believe that the scriptures of the Bible (the Old and New Testaments) are the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Holy Spirit to write those words down. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error, and absolutely supreme and sufficient in authority in all matters of faith.
About God
We believe that God exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, worthy of the same honour, worship, confidence and obedience.
About Jesus
We believe Jesus Christ is the only, eternal Son of God. He was born in the flesh through the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life and performed many signs and miracles. He died on the cross for the sins of all humanity, rose from the dead, and ascended to heaven. He will come again at a future time to establish His Kingdom.
About the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit regenerates and indwells every believer, assures us of our salvation, guide us in all truth, convicts us of sin, righteousness and judgment. He brings us comfort, equips us with spiritual gifts, and empowers us for service in the world.
About Humanity
We believe that humanity was originally created in the image of God to be in relationship and fellowship with Him. This relationship was broken through humanity's sinful disobedience, which leads to spiritual death. We are able to be redeemed and restored to this relationship only through the saving work of Jesus Christ.
About Salvation
We believe that salvation has been given to all people only through Jesus' death on the cross. God freely offers this gift of salvation to all who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus. This gift is free, and therefore, cannot be earned through works but only through the grace of God.
About The Church
We believe that the universal church is made up of the followers of Christ, of which Jesus is the head. The members of the church are those who have placed their faith in the completed work of Jesus. The purpose of the church is to bring glory to God and share the Gospel with the world.
